Namitha prefers to party in Mumbai

Though Namitha has her share of friends in Chennai and Hyderabad, she prefers her friend circle in Mumbai when it comes to partying.

“…the party scene in Chennai isn’t hot when compared to Mumbai,” she is quoted by a news daily.


The buxom beauty has got for herself a house in the Ambey Valley near Mumbai where she retreats every time she needs to unwind.

However, Namitha has lately been working very hard to prepare for the role of a tough cop in the Telugu film ‘Deshadrohi’. She’s already lost 9 kg of her weight and is on her way to lose 3 kg more to slip into the khaki dress of a cop.

She is also gearing up to shoot underwater scenes for ‘Jaganmohini’ in which she plays the ghost of a girl who loves collecting pearls. Namitha will learn Scuba diving before shooting these scenes in Mumbai.
